The Legends of Justice was founded by Lokie and Gamble in April of 2004 during the CoH jump start, 3 days before the official game launch. Its founding members consisted of players from the CoH Beta that became good friends over the few months leading up to the release of the game. The founding members of LoJ were as follows:

LoJ flourished in the following months, adding new members to the core group of players to fill out some of its ranks. Thor’s Assassin, Lokie’s brother, and FireGold were eventually promoted to help manage some of the day to day activities in the group. Both served as Ambassadors, helping spread the word and find new recruits for the growing supergroup. Deadrites was promoted to leader shortly after Gamble stepped down and left the game for personal reasons.

It was during this time other core members were added to LoJ. Sin and Gorene joined the group and helped solidify the leaders and captains in the group after being promoted. Do to personal reasons, Lokie eventually promoted Thor’s Assassin to interim leader of LoJ since he was unable to keep up with the game because of real life responsibilities.

TA helped usher in a new era for LoJ, bringing in a lot of the core members that we still have today. Cassandra Storm, Sage Ember, and SassMonster were added to the group under TA’s reign as leader. With Lokie unable to return to the game full time, TA was officially named LoJ’s next leader.

City of Villains brought about a downtime for the supergroup. Many of its core members switched to play the new game, leaving LoJ in a dieing state. During this time, real life and other responsibilities forced TA to put his attention elsewhere. Like Lokie, he promoted Cassandra Storm as leader to help out with the rebuilding of the supergroup while he was away.

She, along with Sin, Sage Ember, Lucien Vargas, Frere Jaques, and Allouette helped rebuild LoJ from the ground up by adding new members to the group. Many of the original founders and members have come and gone since then with a few returning from time to time to play with all the new people in the group.

Cass eventually took over as full time leader and promoted Sin as co-leader after real life responsibilities unfortunately took over a lot of TA’s time and kept him out of the game. Since then, LoJ has added many new core members who’ve all helped to further the growth of the supergroup.

Throughout all the changes in leadership and the ups and downs that came with it, LoJ was able to stay afloat and strong because of the support and dedication of all the members in the group.
