Buzzsaw Hamilton
Daniel Ortiz Hamilton was an athletic college student double majoring in beach Frisbee and girl-watching. When the first Rikti invasion began his priorities changed. Motivated to help others, he tried to join the Vanguard, but was turned away. He sought out training in boxing, magic, and robotics, searching for ways an ordinary person could drive out the aliens. The war came to an end, but he pressed on.

When the Rikti returned, he was ready. His rune-etched battlesuit allowed him to take the fight to the Rikti anywhere on Earth, while his fighting talent and proficiency with negative energy magic gave "shadowboxing" a whole new meaning. The Vanguard rejected Daniel years ago, but they welcomed the fearless Buzzsaw.
